About Scott

Been playing guitar semi-professionally since I was 15 years old. Have played 1000's of live shows with many different bands in many different music genres. I am a former guitar intructor who is convinced that you will learn faster and spend less money by learning through an online or downloaded course than by taking private lessons.

  1. Molly says:

It’s actually really easy. As far as the schematics go, bass is like guitar for dummies.

It’s really not that hard at all. I’ve been a bassist for about 6-7 years. Learning guitar helps you with bass skills at the same time, because guitar is slightly more complex and bass will come along easier once you get going on guitar

Learning guitar helps Bass skills. Trust me, I’m a guitarist as well as a bassist. A Bass is just a guitar minus 2 strings. You will be able to learn both a the same time. Its not that difficult.

    there are similariteis notewise,
but there are No similarities playingwise.

you play completely different things on a bass,
    playing with the drummer.

dont expect to be a good bass player just because you play guitar!
